On November 4, Vice President Joe Biden suggested Kansas Senate candidate Greg Orman (I) will caucus with Democrats if he defeats Republican incumbent Pat Roberts.
Fox News’s James Rosen relayed the news during the Election Day airing of The Real Story w/ Gretchen Carlson.
Rosen said: “This is a late breaking development involving the White House that is threatening to shake up this very close race in its final hours, with Vice President Joe Biden telling WPLR Radio in Connecticut that Greg Orman ‘will be with us.'”
Rosen pointed out that Orman is “a pro-choice, self-made multi-millionaire businessman running his first political race, and he has been coy about which party he would caucus with in the Senate, if elected.” Biden suggests he will caucus with Democrats.
Senator Roberts’ campaign is taking Biden’s statement to voters today, arguing that “Orman is a Democrat masquerading as an Independent.”
