If Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) decides to run for president, expect soon-to-be Senate Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to back him up.
Paul endorsed McConnell in his Republican primary and campaigned with the senior Kentucky senator in his re-election race.
