Police Union Claims Maryland’s ‘Black Guerrilla Family’ Gang Plans Attack on NYPD

New York’s Sergeants Benevolent Association (SBA) tweeted out that the 81st precinct house received information from a confidential informant that a credible attack was being planned by the Black Guerrilla Family.

New York’s Sergeants Benevolent Association (SBA) tweeted out that the 81st precinct house received information from a confidential informant that a credible attack was being planned by the Black Guerrilla Family.

The alleged plan would have attackers “storm” the 79th  and  81st precinct houses and “shoot it out” with law enforcement. Both precincts are in the Bedford-Stuyvesant area of Brooklyn.

Sources told the CBS Baltimore affiliate in New York that detectives met with Baltimore law enforcement police to look into whether Ismaaiyl Brinsley, the man behind the execution-style murder of two NYPD officers on Saturday, had any connection with the Black Guerrilla Family.

BGF is a well-known Maryland gang, and has a corrupt influence, CBS Baltimore reports, at the local City Detention Center.
