Rupert Murdoch: Romney ‘Had His Chance,’ Lacked ‘Big Vision’

As Mitt Romney ponders a third presidential run, Rupert Murdoch slammed him on Tuesday for lacking a “big vision” for the country in 2012.

“Let’s be clear. Know and like Mitt Romney as a very nice person,” the Chairman of the group that owns Fox News and the Wall Street Journal Tweeted. “But he had his chance and seemed to lack big vision for this country.

At the Manhattan Institute earlier this month, Murdoch reportedly praised New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, but he called Romney a “terrible candidate.”
