Hollywood star Eva Longoria is taking advantage of President Obama’s town hall in Miami to meet with wealthy Latinos and ask them to fund her political action committee.

Buzzfeed reveals Longoria plans to host a fundraiser for her “Latino Victory Project,” taking advantage of the fact so many wealthy Latinos will be in the Miami area to attend Obama’s event tomorrow.

The Desperate Housewives star is a big Obama supporter, attending and hosting multiple fundraisers for Obama as well as serving as a campaign fundraising super bundler.

Other Latino celebrities such as Emilio and Gloria Estefan are expected to attend.

The White House announced the town hall as a collaboration with MSNBC’s Latino Host José Díaz-Balart and Telemundo, allowing the president to give a high profile defense of his executive actions to legalize millions of illegal immigrants.

Part of the president’s plan has been blocked by a Texas judge ruled against it, effectively stalling political momentum for his decision to act without Congress on immigration reform.

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest explained that it was important to travel to Miami because it was an “interesting, dynamic place and a great symbol of how immigration has made our country unique.”
