MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa: Carly Fiorina. former Hewlett Packard CEO and likely GOP presidential candidate, will announce her bid for president on May 4th, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Fiorina said she can’t confirm the report, but she said she’s “98-2 in terms of the probability” of running.

According to a Journal source with knowledge of Fiorina’s plan, Fiorina will make her formal announcement online and have a conference call for national media.

In an event Wednesday in Urbandale, Iowa – near Des Moines – Fiorina attended a meeting with the Westside Conservative Club.  She told the attendees to help her once she gets out there in just a few short weeks — hinting at her anticipated announcement coming May 4th.

“I think it’s fair to say that an announcement is coming soon – and that we are going to endeavor to announce in a way that as many people as possible can participate in it,” Fiorina told Breitbart News.

Although Fiorina’s office won’t officially confirm she plans to announce May 4th, it did release information about a recent selection for her New Hampshire campaign office.

New Hampshire activist Bettie Lamontagne endorsed Fiorina for president Wednesday, and Lamontagne would serve as the New Hampshire Co-Chair for Fiorina’s campaign.

“Bettie has spent decades serving the Granite State,” said the Executive Director of Carly for America, Steve DeMaura. “We are grateful that she has joined Carly’s growing team of supporters, and are honored to have her serve as the New Hampshire Co-Chair for Carly.”

“Carly has a unique and refreshing message of optimism. She passionately communicates how conservative policies can unlock our nation’s potential,” said Lamontagne. “I would be very excited to be on her team.”
