President Obama surprised high school students at First Lady Michelle Obama’s event promoting higher education, admitting that although he was president, he couldn’t rap.
“My rapping skills are terrible, that’s one thing I can’t do is rap,” he said to the group, as he prepared to give the microphone back to rapper Wale, who performed at the event.
“I like rap, but cannot rap,” he said.
But Obama informed the audience that he had enough “rap” to marry Michelle Obama, a girl from the South Side of Chicago.
“I have enough of a rap, that I got Michelle to marry me though,” he concluded. “I’m just saying.”
