Planned Parenthood: How Liberals Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love the Unfettered Pursuit of Profit

Good morning, Democrats! Here’s the latest piece of your souls you’ll be expected to barter away, in order to keep supporting your fabulously wealthy and well-connected patrons at Planned Parenthood, courtesy of the undercover video makers at the Center for Medical Progress:

Wow, they even “heavily edited” that video to begin with the specific laws Planned Parenthood appears to be breaking! (“Heavily edited” is the mantra terrified liberal ghouls and their servants in the media have been chanting like a magic spell to protect themselves from these videos, even though full, unedited, raw footage is always made available shortly after the prepared release.)

Of course, all mainstream media journalism is “edited” in precisely this way, except we never get to see their raw, unedited source videos. In fact, it’s usually more extensive, especially when considering those five- or ten-minute reports nightly news shows and weekend televised magazine shows present. The Center for Medical Progress is far more honest than left-wing agenda journalism, because they make no secret of where they’re coming from… but they let the hideous overseers of the Planned Parenthood slaughterhouse do all the talking.

These videos are exactly what liberal agenda journalists love doing to nearly every other mega-corporation in the land. When the Planned Parenthood executive muses on maximizing the profits of her baby-organ harvesting operation and says, “I think a per-item thing works a little better, just because we can see how much we can get out of it,” that’s the sort of line MSM journalists would underscore with ominous music, and maybe a slow zoom into her greedy capitalist-pig eyes, if this were an expose about any other Big Business.

Especially a Big Business presided over by extremely well-compensated executives – remember, in the last video, the Planned Parenthood poobah spoke of her daydream about buying a Lamborghini, and she probably isn’t driving a 20-year-old beater now – whose posh lifestyles are extensively supported by taxpayer dollars. Liberals whine incessantly about the supposedly unfair tax breaks and “loopholes” exploited by businesses they don’t like, but they’re dead silent about the mountains of cash pilfered from taxpayers and shoveled into this giant corporation.

Planned Parenthood stands as proof that liberals can learn to love the unfettered pursuit of profit – even unto haggling over the price of human organs that were somehow miraculously extracted from what they assure us is a completely non-human clump of parasitic cells.

When it comes to this particular Big Business, every raving anti-capitalist loon slams his Little Red Book shut, and starts talking like Adam Smith. The people who think Big Government should regulate everything — from coal-fired electric plants, to Uber, to corner lemonade stands run by moppets — out of existence think raising the health standards at abortion clinics is “anti-choice extremism.”

The people who suspect every other company is cooking its books to cheat the people and their glorious State out of taxes are serenely uninterested in Planned Parenthood’s business practices. In fact, they think the government ought to crack down on anyone who asks too many questions about this particular enterprise.

Any other business so deceptive about its practices that new employees faint when they get past the propaganda curtain and learn what they’ll really be doing – like the Planned Parenthood employee who thought she’d be drawing blood, and was instead assigned to size up pregnant women like cattle at a meat market to fill fetal-body-part orders – would be drowning in an ocean of bad press, and demands for extensive investigation.

Instead, the people who expose these horrors get the bad press and investigations. That’s how it goes in a totalitarian society run by cold-eyed political animals whose only immutable principle is the pursuit of power and money, masked by a thick layer of sanctimony about how they’re selfless crusaders for the rights of the oppressed.
