In an interview with Breitbart News, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said that if elected president, he would not spend any of his time golfing.

“I think that last time I had a round of golf was fifteen years ago,” Christie said, when asked if he participated in the current president’s favorite leisure activity.

Christie has four children, two of which are attending college and two who are still at home. He explained that a big part of his leisure time was spent with them, doing homework and watching them play sports.

“I still do that as governor, I would want to do that then,” he said, if elected president.

“I like to read stuff that has nothing to do with my job,” he added. “And so I would probably continue to do that and I love sports. I’d certainly make sure that the White House has Direct TV so I could watch the Mets.”

Christie admitted that it might be harder to attend concerts as president. He was recently spotted at two different U2 concerts in New York and is a big fan of Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi.

“If Springsteen, Bon Jovi, or U2 were playing at the Verizon Center in D.C., I’d find my way over there,” he said.

As a Dallas Cowboys fan, Christie was recently spotted in the owner’s box with Jerry Jones during the NFL playoffs. When asked if that would continue if elected president, he laughed.

“It might be, maybe not, I don’t know … Jerry’s box is relatively secure,” he said.
