The manhunt is on for 29-year-old Tremaine Wilbourn, the man that Memphis police have ID’d as the murderer of a local officer shot during a routine traffic stop on Saturday night.

By evening on Sunday, police identified Wilbourn and alerted the public that they are searching for him for the shooting of Memphis officer Sean Bolton, 33. The officer only recently joined the department in 2010.

Memphis police report that a warrant for Wilburn’s arrest on one count of first degree murder has been issued.

Another man turned himself in to police, but authorities don’t think he was involved in the shooting.

The Memphis City council has offered a $10,000 reward for Wilbourn, and the U.S. Marshals are offering another $10,000.
