LAS VEGAS – Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta is not denying that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is favoring Clinton over the other four official candidates at this point.

Podesta responded to Democratic challenger Martin O’Malley’s accusation that the DNC is in the bag for Clinton, suggesting that the DNC is going through all the proper channels but is still legitimately coming up for Hillary.

“O’Malley’s had access to the DNC. Obviously he had a little thing with the head of the DNC,” Podesta told Breitbart News in a Spin Room interview after the first Democratic presidential debate at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. Podesta was referring to O’Malley’s spat with DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, who O’Malley accused of trying to rig the primary for Clinton by only holding six debates.

“I think the DNC is trying to play it straight. If the DNC wants more debates, Hillary will do more debates,” Podesta promised.
