The Republican National Committee (RNC) wants an official audit of the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), a nonprofit affiliated with Hillary and Bill Clinton’s foundation.

The RNC has filed a formal complaint with the IRS regarding errors in the health nonprofit’s tax returns.

The CHAI group said this week that it does not plan to re-file its tax returns for 2012 and 2013, even though it admitted that it made errors in reporting the government donations that it received in those years.

A CHAI spokesperson told Reuters that it “does not believe a refiling is necessary” because the errors did not affect how much total money in government donations the group reported to the IRS. CHAI previously said that it planned to re-file its tax returns for 2012 and 2013, but is now backing off from that promise.

“The American people deserve to know whether the largest philanthropic arm of the Clinton Foundation continues to misreport the funds it receives from foreign governments, and whether this might lead to the potential for further conflicts of interest,” RNC chairman Reince Priebus said.
