Member of Hillary Clinton’s Leadership Council Refuses Syrian Refugees, Praises Internment Camps

A little more than a month ago, Roanoke Mayor David Bowers proudly joined Hillary Clinton’s Virginia Leadership Council, an organization dedicated to making Clinton president. Wednesday, Bowers, a Democrat, released a letter that not only stated that his city would refuse Syrian refugees (a direct break with Clinton) but went on to praise President Roosevelt’s WWII-era Japanese internment camps:

“I’m reminded that President Franklin D. Roosevelt felt compelled to sequester Japanese foreign nationals after the bombing of Pearl Harbor,” Bowers wrote. “and it appears that the threat of harm to America from ISIS is just as real and serious as that from our enemies then.”

Wednesday afternoon, the DC Media went crazy over the letter on Twitter … until it was discovered that the author was not only a Democrat but a Hillary Clinton supporter.

Then things suddenly went quiet.

Whereas Republicans are bludgeoned to death with such things, the DC Media is not only protecting Hillary from Bowers, but also from Haim Saban, one of Hillary’s top Hollywood donors, who has called for greater “scrutiny” of American Muslims.

Like Mitt Romney did with Todd Akin in 2012, Clinton quickly distanced herself from Bowers.

In an effort to re-elect Obama, the DC Media still used Akin to brutalize Romney and the GOP for months afterwards.

Democrats sure got it good.
