Well-known Republican Ovide Lamontagne is now Chairman of GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina’s New Hampshire campaign.
“I believe she is the most conservative candidate who can win,” Lamontagne stated as the campaign announced this new role. “She is a principled, passionate and positive conservative leader who can keep our nation secure and protected while jump starting our economy and preserving our freedoms and liberties.”
He was the GOP 2012 gubernatorial nominee and ran in 2010 for the U.S. Senate.
Lamontagne’s wife, Bettie, has been working as a co-chair on Fiorina’s New Hampshire campaign.
“With Ovide leading our efforts in New Hampshire as State Chairman, we will continue to build momentum around the state.” said Fiorina.
Not only is Ovide a dedicated public servant for New Hampshire, but he is also a leader in the pro-life community. I’m grateful for Ovide (and Bettie’s) support as we continue to build toward the First-In-The-Nation primary and promote our blueprint to take our country back.
Fiorina kicked off her New Hampshire tour this week with 15 events scheduled between today and Friday. The New Hampshire primary slightly more than one month away on February 9.
According to the Real Clear Politics average, Fiorina is ranked eighth in the GOP field with five percent in the state.
