On Thursday, a 41-year-old black man who had 32 arrests dating back to 2000 was charged with his second alleged slashing of a young white woman in a week, hit with a third charge for allegedly striking a 43-year-old woman on November 4, and accused of hitting another women in the head with a bottle on September 29 while calling her a “white bitch.”

Kari Bazemore, 41, allegedly slashed Amanda Morris, 24, on Wednesday in Chelsea, only five days after allegedly slashing Nicole Pagliaro, 28, who needed 150 stitches after she was attacked in the Bronx on January 1.

New charges filed against the “slasher” allege that he struck 43-year-old Deborah Memmolo in the face with a heavy shopping bag in Midtown on Nov. 4; he has also been linked to smashing a bottle into the head of a 25-year-old salon worker as she walked with two friends in the Bronx on September 29, yelling at his victim that she was a “white bitch.” One of the two friends, a 28-year-old woman fought with Bazemore, who continued yelling “Bitch!” according to police.

On December 30, Bazemore allegedly punched a 32-year-old woman in the face on East Eighth Street, was charged with misdemeanor assault, and was then released without bail the same day.

A witness to the Chelsea attack followed Bazemore and alerted mounted NYPD officers who took Bazemore into custody.
