“The illegal alien gang-banger who executed my son was in jail on gun charges and was given an early release, and murdered my son the next day,” said Jamiel Shaw Sr. exclusively to Breitbart News.
“I’m not surprised Barbara Lee didn’t call and invite me and my family to the State of the Union. I’m not surprised President Obama didn’t call me and invite me and my family,” Shaw Sr. went on to say.
Jamiel Shaw Jr., a 17-year-old honor student, was walking home from a mall in 2008 when “18th Street” gang member Pedro Espinoza murdered him. Espinoza, who was recently released from jail and had rejoined his gang, mistook Shaw’s red Spider Man backpack as proof the star student athlete was a member of a rival gang.
“I’m not surprised that California Representative Barbra Lee invited Black Lives Matter to Obama’s last State of the Union,” Shaw Sr. said. “My son was murdered by an illegal from Mexico.”
“Jamiel’s story doesn’t fit in with their agenda,” Shaw Sr. added.
As Breitbart News has reported, Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) invited a co-founder of the Black Lives Matter group, Alicia Garza, to be her official guest at President Obama’s last State of the Union address on Tuesday.
Shaw Sr. said in a statement to Breitbart News:
Espinoza shot my Son in the stomach and while my son was on the ground bleeding with his hands up, the illegal shot him again through his hands and into his head. He walked over him like he was a piece of trash in the streets. My son’s mother was serving in the Middle East when her son was murdered and is still serving with the U.S. Army. Mr. Trump was the only presidential candidate who reached out to me and my family. He is the only presidential candidate who mentions my son and the names of the all too many Americans murdered by people in United States by illegal aliens.
Shaw Sr. said last summer during a Donald Trump presidential campaign rally that the real estate mogul’s fearless truth telling about the violence that some illegal immigrants commit on innocent Americans made him feel “happy for the first time.”
“I continue to stand with Donald Trump!” Shaw Sr. told Breitbart News. “I believe Mr. Trump is going to do the right thing. He’s going to fix what’s broke. And we’re going to Make America Great Again!”
