Carly Fiorina Blasts Fox Business for Demotion: Its Own Polling Says I’m Qualified

GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina responded to Fox Business’s announcement moving her from the main stage to the undercard debate in Thursday’s sixth GOP primary debate in South Carolina, saying she is ranked sixth in Fox News’s own poll.

“Well, you know, these polls are all over the map,” Fiorina responded on CBS Radio Boston’s Dan Rea Show last night. “In the Fox News poll, I’m in 6th place which would qualify me, but hey, I’ll debate anyone, anytime, anywhere. I’ll be in South Carolina and what I know is that polls don’t win elections, voters do.”

Fiorina will join former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum in the undercard debate.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) was also moved from the main stage to the undercard debate; however, reports suggest Paul is refusing to participate in anything that isn’t “first-tier.”

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), Dr. Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Jeb Bush and John Kasich will appear on the main debate stage, according to Fox Business.

The undercard debate airs at 6 p.m. eastern and the primetime debate begins at 9 p.m. eastern on Fox Business this Thursday.
