Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump took to Twitter Thursday to blast The Blaze’s Glenn Beck as a “failing, crying, lost soul” and “wacko.” Beck has not only put his support behind Trump’s main rival in the primary race, Senator Ted Cruz, the talk show host has been on a somewhat bizarre crusade-of-sorts to prove Trump voted for Obama in 2008. Even after Beck fell for a phony tweet and was forced to apologize to Trump, The Blaze founder has since tripled down on this phony claim.

Thursday morning, Trump responded:

For his part, Trump is on record having supported John McCain in 2008. The billionaire businessman not only publicly endorsed McCain, he was on one of McCain’s committees and raised money for 2008 Republican nominee.

After Beck was duped by the phony tweet, he was praised by many for his unreserved Facebook apology to Trump. His bizarre behavior since, despite all the evidence, to make a case that his debunked claim about Trump’s support for Obama was fake but accurate,  only smacks of Vote-Trutherism.
