Hillary Clinton admitted during MSNBC’s Democratic debate on Thursday night that she doesn’t have the support of young people.

“I hope that I will be able to earn their support,” Clinton continued. “They may not support me now, but I support them and we’ll work together.”

Her concession came after moderator Rachel Maddow asked whether Sanders could win the White House in November. Clinton initially responded that she is the “strongest candidate to take it to the Republicans,” but then acknowledged Sanders’ much greater support among younger voters.

“I personally am thrilled at the numbers of people, and particularly young people who are coming to support your campaign … I support them and we’ll work together,” she said.

Establishment Democrats have been claiming that Sanders is getting millennials energized and that, ultimately, they will simply fall in line and vote for Clinton.

“I’m very proud of the way Senator Sanders has expanded the universe of young people especially interested in the political process,” said House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

“Senator Clinton has already as well recognized the value that Bernie Sanders has brought to the campaign in energizing those young people,” said Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY). “At the end, those folks will come to her.”

In Iowa last week, one young supporter of Sanders was asked by Breitbart News why so many young people favor Sanders over Clinton. “Because they can smell bulls**t,” he responded.

A student in the same audience said she supports Sanders because he “has stuck to his opinions.”

“I’ve seen way too many videos of Hillary changing her opinion,” she said. “She changes so many opinions so fast. She’s just telling people what they want to hear.”

“I don’t think anyone in our class likes Hillary,” said another student interviewed by Breitbart News at a Sanders rally. “She is too much associated with the current establishment…She’s like a robot. She seems like you can’t trust her, with Benghazi, her emails,” the student said.
