Stuck On Repeat: Marco Rubio Cites Talking Point Four Times in One Interview

Sen. Marco Rubio is still repeating his talking point about President Obama when asked about his experience as a freshman senator — repeating the talking point four times in an interview on CBS Morning on Monday.

“The core of this campaign is that statement, and I am going to keep saying it: Barack Obama is deliberately carrying out a strategy to change America, he wants to redefine this country,” Rubio said during the interview.

Later in the interview he intentionally repeated the same talking point:

“Barack Obama is systematically trying to carry out an effort to change this country and that’s why this election is so important,” he said. “We need to stop that from continuing.”

When questioned by CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell, Rubio repeated himself again by referring to Obama.

“The issue is that he is carrying out an effort to change the country to make it more like the rest of the world.”

After listing Obama’s accomplishments in office, Rubio repeated himself again.

“These are intentional strategies, to redefine the role of our government and our country and the role of America in the world,” he said. “And that’s one of the main reasons I am running for president.”

Rubio concluded, “I hope they keep replaying those lines!”

“A lot of people are wondering about your strategy on that, but let’s move on….” anchor Gayle King finally concluded.
