The Clintons Are Hitting the Big Screen

The controversial book “Clinton Cash” has been made into a documentary film that will debut before the Democratic convention.

The investigative book by conservative author Peter Schweizer alleges that Bill and Hillary Clinton created a personal cash cow for themselves by taking money from foreign interests in return for political favors.

Now Schweizer and Stephen K. Bannon, the executive chairman of the right-leaning Breitbart News, have channeled last year’s best seller into a film with director M.A. Taylor poised to damage Clinton just as she is expected to become the Democratic presidential nominee.

“It’s a story that resonated with people on the printed page,” ­Schweizer told Bloomberg News. “We felt we needed to look at other platforms, too.
