Former Alaska Governor and GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin denounced the Black Lives Matter movement not only for their “disgusting” hypocrisy but also for turning America into a dangerous place where even police officers do not feel safe.

In a wide-ranging interview with Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow on Breitbart News Sunday, which airs on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125 from from 7 PM to 10 PM EST, Palin called out the Black Lives Matter movement, saying it is nothing but a “farce” because of their “intolerance,” “short-sightedness,” and “narrow-mindedness” that is “really excluding anyone but someone who happens to be a Black American.”

“Black Lives Matter is turning our country into such a volatile and scary place that is part of that fundamental transformation of America that Barack Obama had promised to do to America,” Palin told Marlow.

She said it is hypocritical of the movement to only want to respect the lives of people who belong to a particular race. And she slammed the Black Lives Matter leaders for condemning politicians who say “all lives matter.”

Palin said, “who with common sense wouldn’t say ‘all lives matter'”?

She added that this mentality is “disgusting” and “it discredits the whole movement.”

Palin noted that she has sympathy for and empathizes with those who have had experiences with bad cops. She mentioned that she herself has dealt with a bad cop for a decade and does not put “this blanket lovey-dovey approval over all of law enforcement.”

But Palin emphasized that she has to put some of her personal feelings aside “and consider again what is America’s foundation, what has created its exceptionalism.” She said “it’s law and order, it’s the rule of law… that we are to be a part of… otherwise, there is no republic.”

Palin said Americans have to “consider the big picture, you have to consider this atrocity that is going on right now, which is the quashing of or thwarting of America’s law and order.” The former Alaska Governor said Americans must respect “the thin blue line,” which consists of “our men and women in uniform who are protecting law and order in America.”

After Palin denounced the Black Lives Matter movement on Facebook last week after the Dallas police were massacred during a Black Lives Matter protest, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani later chimed in, saying on CBS’s Face the Nation that the movement is “inherently racist” and “un-American.” On Monday, New York Police Chief Bill Bratton said the Black Lives Matter movement is a “a different kind of bigotry” and slammed the agitators for specifically targeting police.

Black Lives Matter leaders on Monday also proved that Palin was correct in saying that the movement wants to fundamentally transform America.

After Dallas Police Chief David Brown urged Black Lives Matter agitators to consider joining the police force to enact changes from within, Melina Abdullah, a Black Lives Matter leader, all but laughed at Brown’s suggestion during a CNN appearance. She said that the movement wants a “transformation of the system of policing” and emphasized that she did not want those in the Black Lives Matter movement to even consider becoming police officers. She said the “system is built to sustain itself” and is “fundamentally flawed” and people “can’t change it from the inside.” She said the police system is rooted in “slave catching” and Black Lives Matter agitators believe in “transforming” the system instead of being “incorporated” into it. Alicia Garza, another Black Lives Matter leader, also said on the network that she did not want Black Lives Matter agitators to consider becoming police officers.

In her interview with Breitbart’s Marlow on Sunday, Palin said the Black Lives Matter movement is trying to influence “malleable minds’ into thinking that “one race matters more than another.” She said their message is the antithesis of Martin Luther King Jr.’s message.

Marlow said Palin’s Facebook post last week (“#BlackLivesMatter is a Farce and Hyphenating America Destroys Us”)denouncing the Black Lives Matter movement and the media that overlook the violence associated with the movement was the “sternest, most articulate rebuke” by “any mainstream pundit or politician.” Marlow added that Palin’s Facebook post once again proved that the intellectuals, especially the professional conservative intellectuals in Washington, “don’t have the backbone to stand up to what’s ailing the country.” He added that those like Palin are the ones who have the backs of average Americans.
