A Florida man and his girlfriend beat up the man’s grandmother when she refused to drive them to a home where the couple could have sex, police said.

According to the Miami-Dade Police Department, Michael Rubio, 25, and Jacquelyn Carrasquillo, 27, were arrested after assaulting Rubio’s grandmother, a woman in her late 60s, ClickOrlando.com reports.

Police say the three were arguing over the sex demand in a vehicle in Miami when the elder woman stopped the car and exited the vehicle, intending to walk home.

But officials allege that Rubio and Carrasquillo also exited the vehicle and punched the older woman several times in the face before throwing her to the ground.

The attackers then jumped back into the vehicle and sped off, leaving the woman dazed and stranded.

Rubio and Carrasquillo were arrested later and are being held in Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on charges of robbery and battery on a person over 65.

The Miami ABC affiliate reported that the “police didn’t say whether they ever had sex.”
