President Barack Obama vowed to donate money to the Kayla Mueller Foundation, an organization founded by her parents, after she was held hostage by the Islamic State in Iraq and killed.

In an interview with ABC News, the Mueller family revealed the president made a promise to donate during a visit with them on March 13, 2015.

“I’m still waiting for that donation, Mr. President,” Carl Mueller said in an ABC News interview broadcast this morning on Good Morning America, as part of an hour long investigation to be aired tonight on 20/20.

According to ABC News, a White House official confirmed that the president has not donated to the foundation, but still intends to do so.

The Muellers also revealed in the report that Obama refused to meet with them twice after Kayla was captured by ISIS. He agreed to visit them two other Americans — James Foley and Steven Sotloff — were murdered by ISIS.
