President Donald Trump chided the media for failing to cover the March for Life every year, as hundreds of thousands of pro-life activists march to protest abortion.

During an interview with ABC’s David Muir, Trump was asked about his reaction to the women’s march on Washington the day after his inauguration.

“The crowds were large, but you’re going to have a large crowd on Friday too, which is mostly pro-life people,” Trump said, previewing the March for Life. He said he heard that the crowd for the March for Life would be as large or larger than the women’s march.

“They say the press doesn’t cover them,” Trump said.

“I don’t want to compare crowd sizes again,” Muir began.

“No, you shouldn’t,” Trump interrupted, “But what they do say is that the press doesn’t cover them.”

The Trump administration has signaled that they will participate in the March for Life.

“We’re going to have heavy administration presence there,” confirmed White House press secretary Sean Spicer on Tuesday. “It’s no secret that this administration and this president will do what they can to fight for life.”
