‘Classroom Without Girls’ Urges Teens ‘Be Seen Not Heard’ in School During Women’s Strike

A group of New York City teen girls says it has organized itself “in solidarity” with Wednesday’s “Day Without a Woman” strike that is co-sponsored by Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

The website for “A Classroom Without Girls” is very limited, but says in its handout:

You may or may not have heard of a protest that will be happening country-wide on March 8th, called the Day Without A Woman. It is going to be a country-wide all female strike. The idea, like with the Day Without Immigrants, that was on February 16, is to show that women are important workers in our community, and without them many things cannot function. A Classroom Without Girls is a way that we can join this cause.

“The idea is that we will go to school that day, but will not participate,” the teens continue. “We will not raise our hands or answer questions in class. We will be ‘seen, but not heard.’”

“The idea is to show boys and men why we are so important to society, not just because we are pretty faces,” the teens say.

Though the group is encouraging girls to get their parents’ permission to participate in their social activism on Wednesday, the handout says, “tell them exactly what you plan to do.”

“Guys” are urged to “stand up” for girls who refuse to cooperate with teachers or answer questions on Wednesday, and “Everyone” is encouraged to “wear black clothing and stickers” to show support for the activist teens.

Schools in Alexandria City in Virginia and Chapel Hill-Carrboro in North Carolina have cancelled classes on Wednesday due to staff shortages caused by activists planning to participate in the Day Without a Woman strike and as part of International Women’s Day.

Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America – the nation’s largest organization of pro-life youth – says the Day Without a Woman strike is “vastly missing the mark of forcing people to appreciate the role of women in society.”

She continues:

The Women’s March, sponsored in large part by Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion vendor in our nation, turned from promoting worthy goals of equal pay and family leave to championing abortion-on-demand. And now, instead of drawing attention to issues of pay inequality, family leave, and recognizing the value of women, they are forcing a school district to close, forcing children to skip a day of education, and forcing working moms to find last-minute expensive childcare. Way to go Women’s March, you just made the lives of families in that school district even more difficult.

The Day Without a Woman strike is an extension of the Women’s Anti-Trump March held the day after President Donald Trump’s inauguration. Leftist billionaire and globalist George Soros donated $246,637,217 to 100 march partners between 2000 and 2014, reports MRC’s Newsbusters.
