A 23-year-old Ohio woman has been arrested and charged with rape after a cab driver told police she and two male accomplices held him at knifepoint while she sexually assaulted him.

Police in Findlay, Ohio, arrested 23-year-old Brittany Carter after she was indicted over the incident which reportedly occurred at 4:30 AM on January 28, according to The Smoking Gun website.

Carter was indicted on a two-count felony charge including armed robbery and rape.

According to a police report, Carter and two black males called the cab to pick them up at a local hotel and that during the trip one of the males pulled a knife and forced the driver to pull over.

Police allege that as the male passenger, identified as 20-year-old Cory Jackson, held him at knifepoint, Carter performed a sex act on the driver. Police are still searching for Jackson and the second male passenger who has yet to be identified.

The indictment accuses Carter of “having purposely compelled” the cab driver to engage in sexual conduct “by force or threat of force.”

“We don’t know why she did it,” Findlay Detective Lt. Robert Ring told the Fremont News-Messenger. “Maybe it was a distraction because they took money from him.”

Carter, who has a history of drug arrests, is being held in the Hancock County jail in lieu of a $60,000 bond.
