Job Creators Network’s national bus tour, part of its multi-million dollar campaign for tax cuts, kicked off Tuesday with a major event in Oklahoma City.

The bus tour is designed to put pressure on Congressional lawmakers to pass a tax cut bill by Thanksgiving or year’s end and make it retroactive to January 2017. Job Creators Network organizers will spend the week urging Americans to go to TaxCutsNow.com, sign the tax cut petition, and watch and share videos by small business advocates explaining why tax cuts are needed.

President Donald Trump has made tax reform a priority of his administration, championing his “American plan” last in Bismarck, North Dakota.

“So we’re here today to talk about our plan to create a new age of American prosperity by reducing the crushing tax burden on our companies and on our workers,” Trump said. “The taxes are crazy — the highest-taxed nation in the world. We’re going to turn that around very quickly.”

Job Creators Network launched its nationwide advertising blitz is also underway, featuring talk radio and television commercials, and social media ads to encourage tax reform.

“Small businesses are owned by both Republicans and Democrats and they all need a tax break,” Alfredo Ortiz, Job Creators Network President and CEO, told Breitbart News. “A bipartisan strategy to pass tax cuts not only makes sense, but will be more politically feasible. All small businesses need tax cuts, not just the ones with similar political ideologies.”

The bus tour’s next scheduled stop is Tulsa, Oklahoma. The tour will continue with events in Louisville and Frankfort in Kentucky and Blacksburg, VA. The bus tour will conclude with a “15% on the 15th Rally” in Washington, D.C., on September 15, where legislators, several trade associations and headlined by economist Stephen Moore.

Job Creators Network has featured advertising on Breitbart News Network regarding TaxCutsNow.
