A judge sentenced a Pennsylvania man to prison after he was convicted of marrying his wife’s daughter without getting a divorce first.

Penn Live reports that Christopher I. Hauptmann, 44, received a “one year minus a day to two years minus a day” prison sentence Thursday after being convicted of bigamy, unsworn falsification to authorities, and forgery.

Hauptmann pleaded no contest to charges that he married a woman in 2015—and then married her daughter the following year without obtaining a divorce from her mother beforehand.

Shannon Deitrich, who Hauptmann married in 2015, provided testimony against him in court. Hauptmann married Kaylee Durovick, Deitrich’s daughter, in 2016 without first filing for divorce from Deitrich.

Hauptmann is reportedly still married to Durovick, who was 18 at the time they married, but is banned from contacting Deitrich, Inside Edition reported.

Penn Live reports that Hauptmann used the fake name “Christopher Buckley” on documents. Authorities determined that  Hauptmann and Buckley were the same person after checking fingerprints.

Although Hauptmann owned a bail bonds business, he could not post his own bail when he was first arrested. He will, however, receive credit for 332 days of time served, Fox News reports.
