On Saturday, one of the protesters at the student march for gun control described guns she wants to ban as those that fire “an automatic disposal of bullets.”

She made this statement to Gun Owners of America (GOA) as they took their cameras around to interview march attendees.

Her initial statement was that she wanted to ban “assault rifles,” a term used interchangeably with “assault weapons” by those marching on Saturday. When asked to describe the “assault rifles” she said, “Though I have, ah, never used one, it’s essentially a gun that ah, ah, ah fires an automatic disposal of bullets, ah, with a single press of the trigger, I would imagine.”

In another portion of the video, GOA executive director Erich Pratt walked up to a protester who was holding a sign that said, “Only fools vote to arm teachers.” He then asked the female protester if she was familiar with any states that have tried to arm teachers, and she said, “Not really. I don’t know the facts about it.”

GOA at the #MarchForOurLives

GOA hit the streets of the #MarchForOurLives to find what the protestors' true intentions were for gun control in America.

Other gun control proponents at the march called for punishing gun stores that sell guns that are later used in mass shootings, while still others called for ending gun ownership completely.

One protester in support of a total gun ban said, “I don’t see why we couldn’t be like Canada or Japan.”
