War on Christmas Hits Small Texas Town

The War on Christmas has hit a small East Texas town. Residents of Orange, Texas, are furious that a nativity scene has been taken down after 30 years. The city manager decided to remove it from city property after atheists demanded a display of their own.

Congress Moves Past Obama to Reach Budget Deal

House Republicans waited until the middle of the Republican presidential debate to announce details of their budget agreement with Democrats on the year-end $1.6 trillion spending and tax package. The deal failed to curtail or reform Obama’s refugee resettlement program, block his executive orders extending amnesty, roll back his plans to issue hundreds of thousands of new green cards to immigrants from the Middle East nor roll back any funding for Planned Parenthood.

Pamela Geller: ‘It Was Cruz’s Night’

Geller said she thinks the media and the GOP establishment are “still in denial” about their inability to pick the Republican nominee this year. “They were lobbing such softballs to Jeb Bush,” said Geller, referring to the debate moderators, adding that Jeb “is beyond saving” in her view as far as securing the nomination.

Vegas Debate: No-Fly Zones, Regime Change, and Other Shattered Illusions

The interesting discussion is all on the Republican side, and there were some strong exchanges in Las Vegas. Contrary to Chris Christie’s dismissal of the debate over surveillance between Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio as so much senatorial jibber-jabber, there are serious questions of liberty, security, and privacy to discuss. (Having said that, Governor Christie’s tone will probably appeal to voters who want strong leadership and decisive action on national security, as will Donald Trump’s.)

Ryan-led House Wagers On Vegas Debate to Distract From $1.6 Trillion Deal

If you bet on the House Speaker Ryan era ushering in a new sense of transparency on Capitol Hill, last night’s actions may cause you to think again; the House GOP doubled-down on the traditional Friday night news dump with a Las Vegas debate late-night news dump for a mega-budget deal certain to help keep America in the red for years.

California Conservatives React to GOP Debate

On Tuesday night, the candidates vying for the Republican nomination for president gathered at the Venetian Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip for the last GOP debate of 2015. Below are some observations from various conservative and Republican leaders around the Golden State.

Saba Ahmed, a friend of the family of Mohamed Osman Mohamud, speaks to the media after Mohamed Osman Mohamud appeared in court on November 29, 2010 in Portland, Oregon. Mohamud, a Somali-born teenager, was arrested and charged with attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction when he allegedly attempted to set off a car bomb during Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Pioneer Courthouse Square in Portland, Oregon. It was reported that civilians were not at risk because the bomb was supplied to him by undercover federal agents and the explosives were inert. (Photo by

Deception Cloaked in an American Flag

You could feel the excitement in the air to finally have a moderate Muslim leader, a woman to boot, wrapped in an American flag appearing on Fox News with Megan Kelly talking about her love for this country and what a loyal citizen she is.

Republican Debate Grades: Trump Actually Won This Time

Tonight’s Republican debate did little to shift the field. After tonight, Donald Trump will remain the frontrunner; Jeb Bush will continue to bring up the rear; John Kasich will continue to be the boil festering on the ass of the American public.
