Poll: One in Three Republicans Back Trump

The poll has Donald Trump in first place with 38 percent among Republicans and right-leaning independents. He is backed by more than 1 in 3 Republicans. In second place is Sen Ted Cruz (R-TX) with with 15 percent. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Ben Carson are tied in third place with 12 percent of support.
