Coverage of New Video in Waco Biker Shooting Reveals Media Bias

New video released of the May shooting that occurred outside a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, Texas, raises more questions than it answers about what really happened that day. Refugees and migrants wait for free blankets and raincoats before disembarking from a government chartered ferry 'El Venizelos' in the port of Piraeus near Athens on December 10, 2015. More than 4000 refugees arrived to the port from the Greek islands of Lesbos and Chios with the majority of them heading by buses to the borders. Rhetoric of ‘Bipartisan’ Every Student Succeeds Act Can’t Mask Its Federal Control of Education

Establishment Washington Republicans could not say enough this past week about how the 1,061-page Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) reduces the federal government’s role in education and that it eliminates the fed’s coercion of states to stick with the unpopular Common Core standards. Perhaps most significant to these Republicans is that the bill was a self-proclaimed model of “bipartisanship.”

GOP May Tax Internet Sales in Omnibus

The final $1.1 trillion spending bill being negotiated in Congress will be a massive 1,000+ page of legislation that few people will read. In addition to funding government through next year, the must-pass bill is likely to contain dozens of provisions that would otherwise be difficult to pass.
