Look fast for a nice shot across the now kinda-defunct ACORN’s bow.

This video’s terrific. Stevens cleverly crams a lot of truth into just a few tuneful minutes and we laugh because it’s all true. Almost too true to bear.

Anyone remember “The Streak.” Man, I wore that 45 out as a kid.

Translation for the under thirty: 45 = a wafer thin, black, vinyl sphere just a little larger than a CD that music would come out of when you placed a record needle on it. And yes, it sounded better, more alive, more real and richer than anything digital.
