It doesn’t look as though Colby Hall over at Mediaite or Esquire’s John J. Richardson have figured out what Jon Stewart has — that the Race Card has been rendered completely useless thanks to decades of overuse, abuse, and wear and tear. Why else would they push the absurd meme that mentioning President Obama’s affection for basketball qualifes as, you guessed it, racist. Oh, that’s right, to destroy a potential threat to Obama, Newt Gingrich.
Anyway, here’s a shot of common sense from the unlikeliest of sources:
