Comedian Margaret Cho Paints Sarah Palin as Bristol's Evil Stage Mother

In the annals of rancid-souled, unfunny female comics, Margaret Cho ranks right alongside Janeane Garofalo, Whoopi Goldberg, Roseanne, Joy Behar and Sandra Bernhard. Cho is probably probably most famous for using the near-breakdown caused by the cancellation of her 1994 sitcom “All American Girl” to turn herself into one of those bitter, confessional grrrrls in an era when those incredibly unattractive traits are all too often confused with actual talent.

Cho’s latest show business endeavor was on the most recent season of “Dancing with the Stars” and saw her disqualified in the early rounds, but not before learning from “the circles that I heard it from” that Sarah Palin is some sort of wicked matriarch pushing her children into potentially humiliating situations on the national stage in order to further her own Machiavellian political goals:

Why did Bristol do Dancing with the Stars? I heard from someone who really should know (really should seriously know the dirt really really) that the only reason Bristol was on the show was because Sarah Palin forced her to do it. Sarah supposedly blames Bristol harshly and openly (in the circles that I heard it from) for not winning the election, and so she told Bristol she “owed” it to her to do DWTS so that “America would fall in love with her again” and make it possible for Sarah Palin to run in 2012 with America behind her all the way. Instead of being supposedly “handicapped” by the presence of her teen mom daughter, now Bristol is going to be an “asset” – a celebrity beloved for her dancing. I am sure the show wasn’t in on this (but who knows anything really).

Throughout Ms. Cho’s blog post she makes sure to let us know more than once that she really likes poor little Bristol. Nothing like a bit of concern trolling to bolster what you supposedly heard from an unnamed source. Of course, one unnamed source is all the New York Times needs to attempt to destroy Republicans, so Cho is following a proud journalistic tradition.

Naturally the left-wing website Mediaite is excited about this story, but as soon as they change their name to Paliniaite their obsession with any negative Palin stories will all start to make a little more sense.
