Comedian Jeff Foxworthy is going from grilling fifth graders to asking contestants how much they know about the Good Book.
Foxworthy will host the upcoming show “The American Bible Challenge,” to air on The Game Show Network.
“Challenge” lets contestants compete based on their knowledge of the Bible, with questions focusing on the Bible’s “continuing importance in contemporary life and culture,” according to the press release announcing the program.
Each week, a church or ministry will be featured on the show, with the winnings going to a faith-based charity. The show’s pilot will shoot later this month.
