TCM Celebrates Doris Day's Birthday with Film Slate

ORLANDO, Fla., April 3 (UPI) — TCM is airing Doris Day movies all week in honor of the Hollywood film icon’s 88th birthday.

Among the films screening on the cable network are “Lover Come Back,” “The Thrill of It All” and “Love Me or Leave Me.”

The Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel said Warner Home Video released a four-movie DVD package of her films last month, while Sony Masterworks this week issued a double-CD set of songs Day selected.

Day, an animal rights activist who hasn’t made a movie since 1968, celebrated her birthday Tuesday.
