LOS ANGELES, April 22 (UPI) — Superstar Neil Diamond is no longer a solitary man, having wed his co-manager in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles, his rep confirmed.
This is the third marriage for Diamond, 71, and the first for Katie McNeil, 42, with whom he exchanged vows Saturday in front of family and close friends, People said.
Neil wanted to marry Katie before he set out on his summer tour, Contactmusic.com reported.
“Neil and Katie are ecstatic, a source said. She’s been bubbling about the wedding for weeks now. It will be a classy affair with close friends and family. Neil got burned financially in the last divorce but he’s an old romantic at heart and can’t wait to get married again.”
Diamond is consistently one of the highest-drawing concert performers in the country.
