'Will & Grace' Stars Applaud Biden's Gay Marriage Stance, Ignore Obama's Policy

Vice President Joe Biden said over the weekend that former NBC series “Will & Grace” helped educate the country on the issue of same-sex marriage.

Biden still couldn’t throw his weight behind gay marriage, and the same holds true for President Barack Obama even if we’re told Obama’s position on the issue keeps “evolving.”

The stars of “Will & Grace” are giddy all the same over Biden’s latest gaffe.

“I’m thrilled Biden has come out in support of gay marriage and am beyond proud of what he said @ W&G #PROUD.”

Her co-star Eric McCormack, who played Will, also celebrated Biden’s remarks, tweeting, “Three cheers for VP Joe Biden! Fantastic interview. Now who ELSE is gonna step up?”

You won’t hear liberal celebrities offer any condemnation over the president’s position on the issue – even though it echoes presumptive GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s take on the matter. It seems platitudes on the issue are more than enough to appease them.
