Happy Mother's Day from Wolverine Himself, Hugh Jackman

Big Hollywood would like to wish everyone a Happy Mother’s Day.

And so, too, would Hugh Jackman.

Jackman, best known for playing Wolverine in four Marvel superhero films (with a fifth on the way), took time off from his latest movie project to send his best Mother’s Day wishes.

Classy, no doubt.

Jackman’s film career has been spotty, but he’s that rare actor who avoids divisive rhetoric and embraces his position as an entertainer first and foremost.

Just re-watch “Real Steel,” his 2011 action film where he practically forces us to find joy in an otherwise pedestrian story. And it works.

Sure, Jackman is plugging his latest project, “Les Miserables,” along with his holiday greetings, but when a promotion is done with style and panache we’ll take it every time.
