Missing Andrew: 'Hating Breitbart' Scores Big in Opening Weekend

It’s not just our colleagues here at Breitbart News who miss Andrew Breitbart, apparently.

The weekend debut of “Hating Breitbart,” director Andrew Marcus’s fond look at two years in the life of the late Internet mogul, scored big in its first weekend of limited theatrical release.

The film raked in $10,168 per screen – the second highest tally for any film over the weekend according to Box Office Mojo. “Breitbart” trailed the highly touted indie film “The Sessions” starring John Hawkes and Helen Hunt.

That’s without the support of the mainstream press and despite biased reviews by critics all too eager to give the film a failing grade based on its subject matter.

“Hating Breitbart” follows the Happy Warrior as he rallies his conservative peers to fight against the liberal media memes meant to smear the Right in America.
