Anderson Cooper's Talk Show to End

Anderson Cooper's Talk Show to End

Turns out Anderson Cooper isn’t a ratings draw on CNN or the daytime TV market.

The silver-haired host won’t be hosting his syndicated talk show for a third season, according to TheWrap.com.

The show’s cosmetic changes in season two weren’t enough to stave off television extinction.

The show, which premiered last  September as “Anderson,” struggled to catch fire, and returned for a second season amid a highly competitive landscape that saw the launch of new talk shows from Katie Couric, Ricki Lake and Jeff Probst. The show underwent a revamp for its second season, including a new name, a live format, revolving co-hosts and a venue change to the CBS Broadcast Center in New York, from its previous home of Jazz at Lincoln Center’s The Allen Room, which is located in New York’s Time Warner Center.
