Ken Burns Calls Tea Party, Secessionists Racist Without Proof

Ken Burns is the thoughtful mind behind some of the most informative documentary projects of our time, from “The Civil War” to “Baseball.”

The liberal filmmaker is also oh, so eager to throw the race card sans proof – along with his progressive peers.

National Review caught Burns talking about race and modern politics during a chat about the film “Lincoln” on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

“Do you think we’d have a secession movement in Texas and in other places … if this president wasn’t African American?” Burns rhetorically asked the panel.

Note how Burns simply cannot fathom why the Tea Party or conservatives who are currently discussing secession would have a gripe with President Obama – other than the color of his skin. It speaks poorly of Burns’ ability to break down issues as well as his eagerness to assign hateful thoughts to others without hard evidence to back it up.
