Barbra Streisand, noted political scholar and high school graduate, cannot shut her yap when it comes to waxing eloquent on politics. At her favorite watering hole, The Huffington Post, Streisand castigates Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) for “fueling the flames of a supposed cover-up by the White House, Secretary of State and U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice.”
Streisand likely had someone ghostwrite her article, as she is notorious for not knowing how to spell. Remember her infamous memo describing George W. Bush as a “C” student, where she misspelled 11 words, including four in one sentence?
“In the 1970’s, during the Nixon Adminstration, serious political curruption arose and the Republican leadership stepped up and took responsibilty by holding hearings and subpoening administration officials.”
Now, this political Einstein claims:
… there is no evidence to support that a cover-up occurred, and a majority of Americans agree with the President and want their elected leaders in Washington to focus on the economy and deal with the impending fiscal cliff crisis. But all Senator McCain wants to talk about is Benghazi and he is relentless in his questioning of “what the President knew and when did he know it.
Streisand (or her ghostwriter) then goes on the typical Democrat rant about President George W. Bush and his failure to thwart the 9/11 attacks. She even insinuates that Bush started the war to make certain people profits. She might want to have a private viewing of the film “The Path to 9/11”, whose release was quashed by Bill and Hillary Clinton during Hillary’s 2008 run for the presidency as it showed how the feckless Clinton Administration paved the way for 9/11.
But wait, it gets better. Check this out:
But now, even when the Obama Administration is being transparent and forthcoming, even as they are wanting and willing to learn from the mistakes of Benghazi, where unfortunately four people died, Senator McCain refuses to back down.
Unfortunately four people died? The Obama Administration is being transparent? Let’s get Obama and Hillary Clinton to testify, and then we’ll see how transparent they are.
Streisand concludes that the reason McCain and others are after Rice is that they want her out of the way so John Kerry will leave his Senate seat to be Secretary of State so his seat can be won by Republicans.
Streisand truly believes she should be taken seriously as a thinker. And her sterling qualifications as a scholar certainly rival other noted celebrity geniuses on the Left; (Eva Longoria and Scarlet Johansson come to mind). But in reality, it’s all an effort to desperately call attention to herself now that she is being superseded by young, hot women who are as vapid as she is but much easier on the eyes.
She ain’t Evergreen, y’know.
