Disgraced Democrats can find redemption on the small screen.
The dust hadn’t yet settled on N.Y. Governor Eliot Spitzer’s resignation over a sex scandal when CNN saw fit to give him his own television show.
Now, former La. Governor Edwin Edwards is trading in his prison stripes for a shot at reality television fame.
The Democrat politician, who served eight years in prison for bribery and extortion, is bringing his large brood to A&E starting next month.
Entertainment Weekly neglects to mention Edwards’ party affiliation in the article, which is clearly an accidental oversight and not the umpteenth example of liberal media bias. Heck, The Times Picayune made the same mistake, although it makes sure to describe the ex-con as “colorful.” Politico left out his party as well.
