Operation Skyfall isn’t James Bond’s latest adventure. It’s merely Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment partnering to say thank you to active duty soldiers overseas.
The companies, in conjunction with Operation Gratitude, will assemble 7,000 Skyfall-branded care packages next week for the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces. The volunteerism coincides with the home video release of Skyfall, Daniel Craig’s third outing as the suave secret agent known as 007.
The packages will include body wash, deodorant, shaving cream and other toiletries and will feature a DVD copy of, what else, Skyfall.
“Skyfall is the most popular Bond film ever made and an action-packed film like this can really boost morale with our troops overseas,” said Operation Gratitude founder Carolyn Blashek in a statement.
