Jamie Foxx, Cedric The Entertainer to Join Trayvon Martin Peace Walk

Jamie Foxx and Cedrick the Entertainer are going to join an event remembering Trayvon Martin in Miami called the “Day of Remembrance Community Peace Walk and Forum.” Martin’s parents created a foundation that is sponsoring the event.

This is not the first time Foxx has made himself visible vis-à-vis Martin; he showed up at the 2012 BET awards in a T-shirt with Martin’s picture on it. Foxx was convinced Martin was just an innocent youth shot by the cold-blooded adult George Zimmerman; interviewed by TheSource.com at the Foxxhole Radio All-White Party at The Pool After Dark at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City last year, Foxx bloviated:

I’ll tell you what it means to everybody; everybody that got kids. I got an 18 year-old daughter, she got 18 year-old boy friends. My thing, I come from the kid-aspect of it. It’s like when I see the Trayvon Martin case, sometimes it shocks me that people would have anything negative to say about finding justice for a child. When a child is walking around, he’s thinking like a child. He’s thinking like a 17 year-old, 18 year-old who’s going on about his day, when a man with a gun is already on the phone with 911. He has something completely different in his mind. So when those two people meet; it’s up to the grown up. It’s up to the grown up to take responsibility so something bad doesn’t happen to the child.

Evidence later showed that Martin was closer to a thug than an innocent victim, and that Zimmerman had been friendly with blacks since he was raised with them as a child. But that won’t win Foxx support from his leftist friends, so he’s going to march in tribute to the Martin “child.”
