Jay Leno Calls NBC Bosses 'Snakes' in Feud Escalation

Jay Leno isn’t ready to make nice with his bosses.

The “Tonight Show” mainstay, rumored to be on his way out as NBC seeks a younger late night alternative, is still using his show’s monologue to tweak the Peacock network.

We recently learned about a heated email exchange between Leno and Robert Greenblatt, NBC’s Chairman of Entertainment, over the host’s mockery of NBC’s ratings woes. Last night, Leno used St. Patrick’s Day to throw another dig at the powers that be.

“You know the legend of St. Patrick, right? St Patrick drove all the snakes out of Ireland. Then they came into the United States and became NBC executives.”
