CBS Sitcom Cutting Back on Its 'Men'

CBS’s long-running sitcom Two and a Half Men will return for an 11th season, but it won’t be just like old times.

Young co-star Angus T. Jones’ role on the show likely will be reduced, a possible by-product of the actor’s 2012 rant against the series.

Jones already has seen his workload shrink as his character has appeared via Skype after enrolling in the military during the current season. But Jones’ work on the show will be officially reduced should the new deal go through, while fellow stars Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcker take up the bulk of the work.

Last year, Jones complained that Men peddled “filth” and he asked audiences to stop watching the show. He later apologized for his harsh words.
